Medical coverage at the Jazan Book Fair

A fair that brings together families, school pupils and book lovers from across the region, day after day and well into the evening. The LSM team was there with an equipped ambulance and a field crew on standby throughout opening hours.

A fair for everyone, ready for everyone

Cultural events are different from matches and concerts. Visitors come in every age group, children and older people among them, and they move between halls and walkways all day long — more so at the evening peak and at weekends.

So the cover plan was built on a calm, close presence: an equipped ambulance in a visible, easy-to-reach spot, and a crew that knows the fair's entrances and exits and talks directly to the fair's management and the security teams.

At the entrance, close to everyone

The crew chose the ambulance's spot with care: close to the main entrance, where most visitors pass, but clear of the walkways so it never gets in the way — with a way out kept open at all times.

From there, paramedics can reach any hall within minutes, give first aid on the spot, or move anyone who needs more care quickly and safely.
